Suriname elects the country’s first female president in the economic crisis

Deputies Jennifer Geerlings-Simons-Simons elected the first female president after the Surinam’s party won the legislation on Sunday. The 71-year-old former opposition leader became the only candidate after rivals nominated the rivals to lead the small South American people.
