Three-year-old Amr al-Hams, a Israeli airstrike in the South Gaza Hospital remains immobile in the Gaza Hospital bed.
Unable to walk or talk, around his eyes, looking for his mother, aunt Nour believes.
Amr’s mother, Inas, was nine month old to visit her parents in Gaza in Gaza. He hit the tent that night. The attack killed his mother, unborn baby, two AMR’s sister and grandfather.
AMR saved from resuscitation in the breathing tube. Her sad father is silent nearby.
Now in the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Amr was separated from intensive care, but suffered from heavy nutrition. Fields requiring a long-term siege in Israel’s months.
Nour feeds it with puree puree through a syringe. He lies next to him, changes his chunds and relieves him during seizures.
“I say his mother will return soon,” he says. “Other times, I give him a toy. But he cries. I think he bored.”
Doctors say the amr immediately needs evacuation from the conflict zone. His brain injuries will probably cause permanent damage without special care and therapy.
“His brain is still developing,” he says. “Will he walk again? Talk to you again? There is no restoration as long as it is in Gaza.”
