Callum Wilson leaves from Newcastle

Callum Wilson says that Newcastle will always take a special place in his heart after finishing his five-year spell in Tyneside.

Wilson’s salary was reported to be offered, but he opened it and will try to find a new club before the season begins.

From the 33-year-old Bournemouth, in 2020 joined the newcastle of £ 20 million from Bournemouth and scored 47 goals in 113 games in all competitions.

The official website of the club said: “It is time to say goodbye to the incredible year in the Toon.

“Thank you for everything. It was strong with heights and some opportunities to help the club face new heights.

“I’m proud to wear the number 9 shirt and add a little more date. As they really say, as they really say to the end of Gallowgate.

“All the good things are going to the end, but Newcastle United will always be a place in the hearts of mine and family.

“Thank you for memories.”
