Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A1 (Gen 3) Review: Perpetually Great

Back in 2016 original A1 Bluetooth Dynamic (8/10, string recommended) The more affordable beoplay was the first from Bang & Olufsen under the bottom brand. The stylish puck of the brushed aluminum was a pleasant antidot in all the rubberized Bluetooth boxes, and as a testament for good design, aesthetically passed through three generations.

The third-generation beoplay A1 has started and the design is immediately recognizable and diligently cool, internally, and now sounds better and more resistant. This is one of the best portable speakers I have ever listened to, and it is covetable as usual.

So what’s new? First, there are two new finishes to go along with the classic aluminum-honey tone (review example) and the greenery of Eucalyptus. The speaker is seriously prepared well and ended imperfect. Looks like a reward for $ 399 and feels.

There is a pinch in the design of the skin belt, but important changes come from inside. According to B & OA, A1 3rd gene, the largest woofer in class (3¼ inches), has the largest woofer with a Bass SPP with 64 DBs from the 2nd gen model. The battery life also increased between 18 and 24 hours. Interestingly, Alexa voice assistant was thrown, as they do not want customers directly in AS. There is still a microphone and thus still works as a dynamic.

A1 Gen 3 is the first Crib Certificate for Cradle (Bronze Level) Bluetooth speaker of the world. In terms of laying, there is a modular design that helps to improve and repair the speaker and repair the speaker. For example, if you take your speaker to a Bang & Olufsen store, batteries can be changed. The loyalty of the brand’s longevity and sustainability is commendable and helps to justify the prize price.

Bluetooth 5.1 seems a little dated here and does not mean Auracast compatibilityBut you still get multiple point feedback, stereo pairing and APTX adaptation matching. The IP67 rating provides powder and water supply, plus the USB-C slot data transfer (future upgrades), as well as for charging.

1.2 pounds and 5.24-dimensional diameter x 1.81 inch size, A1, A1 not in pocket, but not large enough to cause problems in a bag or backpack. There is no protective case, but aluminum is difficult and did not have any bad effects since a few weeks deliberately twisted and fall. Reviewer Parker Hall has repeatedly threw the dynamics of the first and second generation and did not see any horrible wear beyond several small dents. The skin carriage belt is delicate, delicate with a subtle but high-grade brand and you can use IP67 speaker as an old school shower radio.
