I have a great Palestinian family. I grew up in a house full of children: We are eight brothers and sisters. Our family grew up further, as my older sisters are married and having children. Every weekend, the house of our family would fill with the laughter of the children.
I was looking forward to Thursday, I was waiting for us to visit us with the children of my married sisters. My father was involved in cooking, my mother – cooking their favorite food and play with children. In total, there are nine siblings and nephews, and I have wonderful memories that play with each of them. These are my family’s treasure, because there is a house without a house without children.
Despite the difficult life of the occupation and siege in Gaza, my sisters and brothers did his best to provide their children and to learn their dreams.
Then the genocide began. Ruthless bombing, durable displacement, hunger.
I don’t have my own children, but I feel the miserable pain of my sisters when the hungry children cried.
“I don’t have the power to endure now. I’m tired of thinking of how my kids fill the empty stomachs. What can I prepare for them?” My sister shared Samah recently.
He has seven children: Abdulaziz, 20, Sundos, 17, Raghad, 15, Ali, 11, Gemini Mahmud and Lana, 8 and Tasneem, 3 are 3.
