Washington – Republic Rep. Elise Stefanik’s The nomination for the US ambassador to the UN is in danger, as it builds a gop pressure to move away from the position.
Multiple sources told CBS News that there are continued discussions in connection with the refusal of it. Stefanik did not resign from his place in Congress, and the narrow majority in the house needs all the sounds that the Republicans are able to do. Home Speaker Mike Johnson was aware of some conversations about Stefanik on Thursday.
A little skepticism was born that Stefanik’s votes were born. His candidacy was developed by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on January 30. Republicans 218 seats at home 313 seats are a narrow cluster. There are currently four vacancies.
Republicans are waiting for the candidacy of Stefanik, to see how Florida special elections are going for two vacant gop seat on April 1. Both are expected to be in control of the republic.
The White House refused to comment, and Stefanik did not immediately respond to CBS news.
A New York Republic, Stefanik, one of the most loyal allies of President Trump, was a second candidate for the approved position of the Senate after 2024 elections. He was elected to Congress in 2014 and rose to the GOP management to be the highest ranked Republican woman in the house.
Stefanik attended a cabinet meeting in the White House at the end of last month.
