“The golden area was definitely your favorite – I thought Kieran Shoemark was a little more effective because he was a strong traveler, but it was in its own largest areas (this 2000 Guineas). There are many unknowns, perhaps 7/4 are enough to move away from him.
“I just think of The green effect interesting in both physical and pedigree. Jessie Harrington described him as a “big, Lanky teenager” in building this race and he really went over the winter. He moved forward and just thought he was a comprehensive professional, it was a really mentally mature horse. When the KPMG champion was formed in juvenile, I thought it was a form and thought it was a good performance. He can be 10-furlong horse at a time at a time, but he thinks he is a cheating quickly and high. It will be beautiful and outstanding – a walk I like in Newmarket – and if the vibes are right, it should be shorter than 16.
