Amazon debuts a warehouse robot with a sense of ‘touch’

Amazon saying This has developed a new warehouse robot that “can feel” some of the items touched.

Two armed volcanoes who can maneuver the goods in their warehouses, use force sensors to report that they contacted an object in their warehouses. In one section, the second goal is equipped with a camera and suction cup – occupies the objects.

Amazon says Vulcan has been trained to physical information, including strength and touch feedback to choose about 75% of the shares of Amazon, and is able to develop itself over time. Robot, Washington and Hamburg, Germany, are placed in Germany, where half a million orders have been operating.

Vulcan is the latest addition to the fleet of Amazon Warehouse Robots. Uses hundreds of thousands to perform customer orders along the global storage facilities. Critics claim that Amazon’s Robotics Investments make an effort to replace human workers, Amazon, it claims robots such as volcanoes simply to correct their warehouses safe.
