People live in a plankton world. These minus organisms are spread throughout the oceans covering three-thirds of the planet and are one of the most abundant forms on earth.
However, the world of warming, violates the plankton and threatens the whole marine food chain.
A year ago, NASA, the most detailed view has still launched a satellite that provides a diversity and distribution of Phytoplankton. Its concepts should help scientists understand the changing dynamics of life in the ocean.
“Do you like to breathe? Do you like to eat? If yes for both of your answer, then take care of Phytoplankton,” the leading scientist for a satellite program called “Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, Ocean ecosol, ocean ecosystem”.
Historically, the survey of ships caught limited images in time, only the constantly changing oceans presented. The arrival of satellites gave a more full picture, but is still limited, looking for glasses with a green filter.
“You know this one garden, you know that it is pretty, you know that these plants are, but do not know what plants,” Ivona, NASA oceanograph. The PACE satellite effectively eliminates the filter and finally reveals all the colors of the garden. “It’s like seeing all the flowers of the ocean.”
These flowers are photosynthesis for Phytoplankton, small water algae and bacteria to experience the safety of the sun. These are in turn, eaten by Zooplankton, the smallest animals of the ocean, which are the fish and larger creatures.
