Waymo and Uber will begin to present robotaxi rides in Atlanta to choose customers who signed a waiting list earlier this year. The movement comes ahead of public robotaxi companies this summer.
Customers selected for early access will be provided via Uber application and via email. Those who prefer robotaxi rides will be advised to give feedback during walking and after. As an additional incentive, the rider will receive a $ 10 Uber loan after the first road trip.
Atlanta is the second city to get the Waymo service in Uber. With the Uber application of companies, this spring started the service that matches the rider with a Waymo with the Uber application.
