German troops were sent to the eastern border of Lithuania

Germany has been the first permanent military placement since the two World War II, which sent troops to the eastern flank of Lithuania.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Defense Secretary Boris Pistorius, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseson, attended the inauguration ceremony to be stationed in Vilnius, the country.

“Peace in Europe is broken, Russia breaks the order we gathered as a lesson of World War II,” Merz said.

Lithuania borders Latvia and Poland, as well as the interlocutor of Russia’s ally in the West and Moscow’s ally Belarus.
