Apple CEO reportedly urged Texas’ governor to ditch online child safety bill

Apple CEO Tim Cook, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott was reported to change a new passing law or called a veto in the State required to inspect the company’s device owners. According to Wall Street Journal.

Abbott must still sign a bill. However, Apple works with groups of interest to fight legislation along with Google. Apple claims that the implementation of Apple, Texas Bill can pose a threat to the privacy.

If the Bill Mandate uses a small device, their app is closed to their parents, so their parents were informed about the application of minors, and asked them to confirm or deny them.

“If applicable, applications for applications, if the applications for each Texan will require a sensitive individual identification for each Texan who wants to use an application, which is a sensitive individual identification for each Texan, simply provides air updates or sports scores.

Those who support the bill will allow parents to control the relationship between children and their smartphones.

At least nine states are looking at similar legislation. Apple was able to stop a bill in Louisiana last year, although the state now reconsiders the bill.
