Snapchat is practicing with generative AI-powered extended reality lenses in the application in the past few years. Now the company allows users to correct themselves with something new An affiliate application To make the influence of AR.
Snap presents a new version of the Lens Studio program, creating AR lenses through text desires and other simple editing tools and publish them directly to SnapChat. So far, Lens studio Only developers and AR were available as a desktop application designed for experts. If the new iOS application and the website is not powerful, the generative AI offers a wide range of face-to-face and body morphing effects thanks to the AI.
“These are experimental new tools that make it easier to play and play with Snapchat lenses prepared by you,” The company explains.
Snap me gave me an early view of the Lens Studio iOS app and I was pleasantly surprised to offer how much comfort. There are tools working with EU to change your face, your body and background through detailed text requests (the application also offers good types of instructions like “great eyes and nosed, very detailed detail”
There is a little learning curve to understand what is working well for each effect and something that can take some generative AI instructions for 20 minutes. However, the application also offers dozen templates that you can use as a starting point and remixes with your own ideas. You can also make simpler face replacement filters that do not trust the EU, but are not able to use popular snapchat effects such as face cutting or bitmog animations. (Several examples of my creativity are below, both used to create a background I put other effects over.)
Snap already has a creator of hundreds of thousands of lenses, some have an impact for the application for years. But I can easily see this new, simple version of the Lens Studio that opens the door for more. Snapchat may have some reverse for the creators who hope that it will take advantage of monetization programs: The company confirmed that users who publish lenses from the new application Lens Creator Rewards The program that pays the creators that affects the famous AR.
A more accessible version of Lens Studio can help you compete with meta for AR talent. (Meta close Spark AR, the platform that allows the creators to make an AR for Instagram last year.) In addition to Snapchat’s in-app effects, the company is now in the second generation Closed Ar Glasses. Recently, Snap focused on the developers named to make finished effects of glasses, but the company has previously Leaned to the creators of the lens Get acquainted with interesting use for Ar glasses. The types of integration will probably require more than those available in the new Pared-down version of Lens Studio, but the creation of AR increases some interesting opportunities possible for a day for the company.
