Uriah Rennie, Premier League’s first black judge, ‘trailblazing’ official for 65 years old football news



Former Premier League Judge Uriah Rennie died at the age of 65.

Rennie was the first black judge of the Premier League and the Sheffield Football Association (FA) was described as “trailing”.

He read the Sheffield FA statement on Sunday night

“Uyah created a date as the first black judge of the Premier League, which has more than 300 flight games between 1997 and 2008.

“He shared the obstacles, formed our football community and inspired our future generations. Our thoughts are in this difficult time Uriah family and friends.”
