French scientists discovered a woman’s new blood type from a woman on the island of Guadeloupe on Friday.
The woman is the only well-known carrier of a new blood type called “Gwada negative” The French Blood Facility (EFS) said. Researchers were discovered 15 years after receiving a blood sample from a patient who had daily tests from one operation.
“EFS discovered only the world’s 48th blood group system!” The agency said in a statement Social network LinkedInAdd, the discovery was officially recognized by the International Blood Transfer Society in early June.
The Scientific Association was so far 47 blood recognized the group system.
Thierry Preyrrard, a medical biologist involving AFP’s discovery, AFP was found for the first time in the first patient in 2011, he said. But at the moment, the resources did not allow further research.
Scientists finally said that in 2019, the secret of a genetic mutation thanks to the “High Transmission DNA Section”, he said.
Peyrard was 54 years old and the patient living in Paris, unknown antibodies were detected in Paris and was made daily tests before the operation.
This woman said, “Surely the only known event of the world,” he said, “He is the only person in the world that is in harmony with him.”
The medical biologist said that the woman inherited blood from the father and mother of the woman, each has a mutated genus.
The patient is famous for the origin and “Negative”, which belongs to “good sound in all languages”, is famous for specialists.
The Abo Blood System was first discovered in the early 1900s. Discovery of new blood groups due to the DNA sequence has accelerated in recent years.
Pairarr and colleagues hope to find other people with the same blood group now.
“Discovering new blood groups means that patients with rare blood types are better offering a better level of care,” Efs said.
