A massive volcano in Guatemala erupts and the authorities evacuated about 300 families while others warn more than 30,000 people in the area.

A 12,300-meter high volcano located in the south-west of Guatemala, is one of the most active in Central America. It usually erupts all four years to give years, but the last time erupted in June 2023. More than 1,000 people were evacuated during this eruption.
One The 2018 eruption 194 people were killed and 234 were missing.
There are two other active volcanoes in Guatemala – the west of the country in Santiaguito and the south of Pacaya.
