Aqara U50 Smart Lock Review (2025): Affordable Until the Hub

The newest lock of Agara, U50 has been in front door for the better part of the three months. I almost forgot this because the holiday season only includes the life of my family. Although my family has learned a new code and I have two buttons, none of them need them.

It’s the most favorable lock I tested. However, it comes with all the features I want in a smart unlock: after a certain period of time, the ability to create automated locking and multiple access codes and can say the door is open and closing without any additional accessories or sensors. There is no secret subscription fee you can find with some intelligent houses and security companies.

I like this unlock. But you want to get AQA M3 HUB ($ 110) Get access to all of the features and the HUB price tag just double the cost to get the lock. If you can get a Wi-Fi entrance without the need, (no smart home integration and means remotely checked in the locked status of the door), this affordable lock is a great purchase.

The U50 has a minimalist design that is a simple, modern looking keyboard on a simple, modern-looking keyboard and a dicked panel. Wide SAN SERIF Front Agara has a keyboard and two keys after zero: Use an Away Mode button that you can configure or re-install the door after yourself. The keyboard requires hitting and wake up before entering the code, but I wake up without entering a difficult code, but I had to press a deliberate button to wake up lightly on the keyboard.

In fact, there is also a large area under the keyboard with a secret keyhole. Keyhole is covered with a panel you slip down to open. The sliding cover will press the ground to stay open, so you don’t have to worry about your opening when using your key. If you are worried about lock voters, this is a nice additional security feature if it is not open to the opening of the panel to be opened. It can also be a professional locksmith.
