The Bosch’s entity’s goal will continue to continue the tradition of investment in deep technological beginnings. This time, Bosch plans to put more money in North American startups.
Bosch Ventues started in 2007 now its sixth fund. Although the corporate VC is technically global, its focus today is more severe to North America.
The strategy is a region affected by the United States of US management policy, which is fear of a trade war, variable exchange and decline in China. However, Bosch Ventuants Managing Director Ingo Ramesohl, TechCrunch told Techcrunch that the flow of deals in North America is stronger than ever.
“I see very positive energy,” said Ramesohl. “People don’t stop to innovate and do not stop to break. So it’s really a lot of time for me for new investments.”
Silicon Valley, Boston, Germany, Tel Aviv and China, usually invested between 5 million and $ 10 million. Ramesohl said that the company would invest 20 to 25 out of this fund.
“This is mainly a continuation of the success stories of the latest funds,” said Ramesohl, when asked what technological sectors were most interested.
The firm is still investing in cars, climate technology, cyberector, semiconductor production, energy efficiency and enterprise program. The generative AI, which applies AI tools to the physical world, is higher in the list.
