The winters in Victoria’s Gipsland area are recognized as it is cold. Frost is often a visitor overnight and the days are often cloudy.
However, in the small town of Corumbah – a part of Australia’s low, rolling hills – it’s not just the weather that is twisted; Here the mood is obviously obeyed.
Korumburra is where Erin Patterson’s victims are home. Don and Gail Patterson, his mother-in-law, had lived there since 1984. They raised their four children in 5,000 cities. Gailin’s sister Heather Lived near Wilkinson – Heri Ian was a pastor in the local Baptist Church.
Fourth was invited to Erin’s house on July 29, 2023, a family will live only in Ian, liver transplant and weekly coma weeks.
And on Monday, the jury, Erin’s accidentally served his guests, served to venomous mushrooms, and one of the three crimes and murderers, he said.
His 10 weeks of court caused a massive mix of global, but here they do not want to talk about it in Korumbah. Only after two years, they want to return to their lives.
“It’s not something easy to go through a sad process … and it doesn’t be especially easy when not so much attention” – BBC Cattler Farmer and Juice Juice Nathan Hersey.
“There is an opportunity for many people to close.”
Local residents are ferocious – this is one of the few people who are ready to explain what the exam is meant to many in the region.
“It’s a kind of place to feel you can be hugged very quickly and feel you’re part of yours.”
The dead also helped build this environment.
Old school teacher Don Patterson’s pig taught: “Many people will talk about the Donsu, the affected by many people who have loved the frost.
“He was a great teacher and a really attractive person.”
And Mr. Hersey said he hears many tales and heard that Gailin is generous and kindness.
The Korumbur Baptist Church was closed to the draft panel, “Very special people who love God loves and bless others” are tribute to tribe.
“We all miss Heather, Don and Gail, we are friends in a short time or more than 20,” he said.
This is not the only corruption changed by the tragedy.
This part of Visor Victoria is the point for the first time with a small town and Hamlet that can be very isolated.
The gardens where the reality squeezed this work – is held together by the gardens.
Neilson Street residents in the nearby Outtrim – a gravel road that does not suit a handful of house a handful of house, the host of a gravel road – criminal weapons could prepare a criminal weapon.
The mushrooms of death lids were one of the two places with vision and injuries, a citizen scientific website. Pointing to watching the mobile phone, the Prosecutor’s Office claimed that Erin Patterson went to eat for fatal fungi.
“Everyone knows someone affected by this job,” said Thoms, says BBC from the BBC from the small farm on Nielson Street.
Comes out of his list. A son is a police detective. His wife works with the daughter of the only survivor. The neighbor is a good friend with “Funky Tom”, for example, a famous fungi expert called by the judge – here was the person who saw the vision of fungi.
Leongatha, the home of Leongatha, Erin Patterson’s house, Leongatha, where he sat between the other extensive features in the paved strip.
He took a land area with a generous inheritance here and built a house that assumed that he would live forever here.
It is sitting vacant for about 18 months and is a sign of criminals in the doors. The sheep of a neighbor falls in a distance to reap the grass.
Black tarpaulin was set up this week and went to the carport and home entrance.
Some of the neighbors have a sense of intrigue, but there are many fatigues. There are Gawkers sliding down the strip to see the place where a tragic food has occurred. A neighbor even saw a bus trundle past the house that even considers the accounts.
“When you live in a local city you know the names when you live – it’s interesting to watch,” Emma Buckland stops us with us with us.
“It’s weird” says his mother Gabrielle Stefani. “There was nothing like that, so it is almost hard to believe.”
The conversation becomes the mushroom tear.
“We grew up on the farm. Even in the front meadow, there are always fungi and you know which one you can do and eat,” says MS Buckland. “This is something you know.”
The city that felt the most influence of the case in recent months, Morwell; The place of administrative capital and trial of the city of Latrobe.
“We have seen morwell in general in a very drowsy city,” said LATROBE says Liam Journalist Liam Dalkin sitting on a wall in front of the Valley Justice.
He edits the newspaper of the weekly LATROBE Valley Express, which is only in the corner.
“I never thought I would never listen to mushroom experts and in the ends, but we also have here.”
“I don’t think it’s something like this and they may never be in morwell again.”
Although not far from Australia standards, Morwell is still a two-hour drive from the second largest city in the country, Melbourne. Victoria feels far from the capital – and often forgotten.
In July 2023, Erin Patterson was closed several months ago, Morwell’s paper mill – Australia’s latest paper manufacturer and many local workplaces providers. Earlier, more people lost their jobs while closing a nearby power plant.
Older people here have struggled to find jobs; Others left to find more lucrative options in states like Queensland.
Thus, the locals now say that it is a little strange to be in the spotlight.
Jay Dees, in the coffee shop, the police station and Laura Heller in front of the court, explains that about 150 coffee a day. Recently almost doubled.
“There were very confused feelings about (testing),” he says.
There was a mass compatibility for many enterprises, but this work also revived the police and the division in society in society as it came to the police and justice systems.
“This city is more affected by the crime, but it is a very different crime,” said MS Heller, medicine and young people are said to be an example.
“Half of society really does not believe in the police force and our masters.”
What is shaken in Corumbah, the believers are faithful. Many people in the world feel like this hood, which saw the three people who created the crime, who created the mem.
Mr. Hersey says “living in our local community.”
“But I would say for a lot of people, almost like pop culture.”
Although in the past two years, sometimes it reveals the worst in society, which makes it the best.
“We want to be recognized as a society that strengthened and supporting each other … is not a place known to what we know now, not a place.”
