Honda and Acura EV owners to gain access to Tesla Superchargers this June


Honda and its luxury brand, Acura, were set to join the growing list of cars that provide homeowners Access to Tesla’s Supercharger network In North America.

Starting in June, Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX will be able to charge electric vehicles in Tesla stations. The EVS is based on CCS charging ports, not technology used by Tesla. This means that Honda and Acura customers purchase fast-fishing adapters from the seller. The car manufacturer has not yet sharing the prices.

Honda, the owners of the Prologue and ZDX will be notified in Hondalink and Acura home applications. Applications will also show locations of authorized Supercharger locations.

Honda adopted a charging standard, otherwise to adopt Tesla’s Charge Standard in 2023. At the same time, Honda said that a new house model in 2025 built with NACS standard, but this goal was pushed a year.

The first model to demonstrate the NACS port is Acura RSX in 2026. This model will be followed Honda 0 series Models presented by the brand in CES 2025.
