I pay $ 1850 per month for my 3-room apartment in Italy – make a look inside

In 2003, I fell in love with L’Aquila in L’Aquila, Italy and the country. The study experience abroad changed the trajectory of my life.

Two years later, I received a master’s degree in marketing management and marketing management and communication at the University of Bocconi in Milan. Stylish, fast-growing milan sleepy, neighboring L’Aquila and the city’s nightlife in fact, reminded me of my miami hometown.

I found out what I wanted to stay after graduation. This was the beginning of a two-year long time and the countdown, it was a business related to Italy. After marriage with the Italian husband, I was married to Diego, I always moved here in 2012.

Today, we live in Milan in Milen’s six-year-old son Lorenzo. I work a company called To do Italy To help other Americans, to help you make a house here for themselves.

How did we make a house of our own

A look inside our newly renovated Milan apartment

Bathroom

This bathroom is one of my favorite rooms, but demanded a ton of work. We completely closed it, we changed the faucets and added the hexagonal tiles I love. We won tiles from a company worthy, friendly and family in Tuscany.

The hexagonal shape looks so elegant to me.

Kitchen

When I came here, the kitchen was not repaired in about 40 years, so much work is needed. In fact, we did not bring only the kitchen belongings from the old apartment, but the techniques.

My wife and I love to cook. I often say I live in Italy for food.

We knocked the sink and the oven from our old apartment and set up a new place. It was an unforgettable passage. We’ve added a few new closets and a new counter.

We dismantled the existing wall plates, but we retained the ones in place. We also closed the two lateral doors used to open the kitchen.

Elegant, but still effective, storage in our kitchen.

Living room

We’ve fallen all the walls to open a living space. We have the natural hard wooden floors we sanded in the living room and we added a lighter spot.

There is a seat and a cozy glass of wine.

The floor tile in this corridor, we got a little tree floor to fit the rest of the room.

A place to sit, work and collect my thoughts.

The bookshelves, gray sofa and lighting facility are entertaining focus points.

The most loved part of my son’s room is the giant map we put on one side of the wall. It points out all the different places on it. I love it because it helps bring together a place together.

Our room

A space is a quiet oasis.

One of the most important additions to the apartment was the conditioning in our bedroom. I grew up in Miami and my family is from the Caribbean, so I can work a little heat. On the other hand, my husband is not so much.

The conditioner was definitely.

Also, in the 1800s, I love our husband in the 1800s. He needed a little job to return it again, so we restored.

Why I love living in Milan

When you go to the market, there are many quality items to choose from. Fresh, delicious products are relatively easy and accessible here. We belong outside the city or in the farmers outside the city, such as grass farms, milk and butter, such as milk and butter.

Leisure time is also a serious business in Italy. The perfect example of this is the tradition of the evening ritual and aperitivo.

My wife Diego and our son Lorenzo lunch in a restaurant in Piedmont, an hour and a half of about an hour and a half.

After working day, people will stand in a cafe for a glass of wine and food for one or two hours. When we left the park after the park, he says my son’s “Facciamo flour ‘peritivo”, despite the fact that “A” is not pronounced.

The owner of a local family named Zipo is on the farm. Slow food sells fresh dairy products and their own rice. Also, the lessons that make the cheese you eat at the end are classes.

We will start a neighborhood point with our friends. The children get their tables with their water and chips, and the adults will sit on our table with the drink of our adults and no one will seem to adopt them.

Milan in the Abruzzo region I live only when I was moved to Italy. I’m in a super cool butcher shop you can get your meat and then chase on BBQ next to the store. I eat a typical dish from the area called the arroster (essentially the lamb disabled).

I love to lift my son in Milan. Here doesn’t mean the end of your social life. There are a ton of parks, galleries and museums and various family friendly activities.

On average, Italians receive a paid holiday in four to six weeks each year, and in the United States, people use holiday times. In Milan, Fasi or Genova Lake, in two hours, these are just the day.

I grew up in a medium-level immigrant family. Now it’s not something I’ve taken for me to make regular holidays in places like Italian Dolomites and carry on weekends in Vienna. I am incredibly blessed and could not be happier than being here.
