Instagram Finally Lets You Play Reels at 2X Speed. Here’s How to Do It

You don’t have time to sit with the whole instagram reel, but still want to open everything? Good news – Now you can watch the reels twice from speed.

Instagram, belonging to Meta, called “a feature required of our society.”

“We hope that the swells are able to move forward, and the reels help you to control more,” a representative for Instagram on Thursday.

The feature is also available in other social media and video services Netflix, Tiktok and YouTubeAlthough it is still YouTube shorts, YouTube’s Tiktok opponent.

How to play Instagram reels 2x

While watching a reel, either keep anywhere on the left edge of the screen or anywhere above the heart.

Reel will play at 2x and access the video, but don’t miss anything.
