Intel appoints Lip-Bu Tan as its next CEO

Intel Lip-This Tan has setA large figure in the semiconductor industry, as CEO, the company was announced at the end of Wednesday.

Tan temporary co-chairs David Zinsner and Michel Johnston Holthaus succeed. He will join Intel Board after being thrown off the board in August 2024. Zinsner Intel will remain in CFO, Johnston Holthaus will remain the CEO of the company’s Intel Products section.

A Malaysia-born, long-term technical investor, previously served the director general of Cadence design systems. Two energy companies, EDS nuclear and Echo energy and in 1987 in 1987, the Venture Capital company was a partner in front of the company firm Calden International.

Tan is quite well closed in the technological industry and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Schneider Electric and SoftBank’s boards. It is also widespread as a business leader. After announcing that Intel Tan was appointed, the company’s shares jumped around 11% in trade after hours.

In the statementTan said he would be “Engineering Engineering Company” under the management of Intel.

“We will be responsible for developing the best products and listen to our customers carefully and trust ourselves,” he said. “We have a responsibility to convey for our shareholders – expect to be the result of something that I focus on equally and the updated attention to customers.”
