James Milner signs a new Brighton deal on the way to prepare the Premier League history

James Milner can break the record of the Premier League after signing a 12-month contract extension in Brighton.

The 39-year-old English is 638 games in the best flight, the second only played Gareth Barry (653).

Last season, the past could surpass the Everton midfield so that there were no injuries that restricted it in just four appearance.

Milner’s influence comes out of the field with Brighton Boss Fabian Hurzeler, and eager to talk about the importance of the locker room.

Hurzeler told Brighton’s official website: “Really, we will take James again this season with us again.

“Last season, he could not help the team in the square, but the experience around the squad, especially for young players, especially for young players.

“He is a great man who is around us, always for me and the team. I look forward to working with him again.”

Milner began his career in Leeds, along with Newcastle, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Liverpool before joining Brighton in 2023.

He has 61 British lides on his behalf and won three Premier League names and a Champions League.
