As part of the Manchester International Festival in 2025, the former Manchester United and Chelsea Star – now plays in Australia for Western Sydney Wanderers – launched his exhibition: Football City, United States.
Well-known curator Hans Urrich Obrist, directed by Josh Willdigg and visual art producer Holly Shuttleworth, the project brings together new work of 11 legendary footballers and 11 modern artists. Together, they are investigating what happened when the two worlds and the two worlds are collided with the pitch and studio.
Among the players, the former Unic Cantona and Shinji Kagawa, the current United Women’s Star Ella Toone, Brazilian Legend RAI and always have colorful Edgar Davids.
Cooperation against sound facilities and manga art of animation, sculpture and genres, Football City, United States Pushes borders and redistricates creativity through a football lens.
