Manchester City women, a former cartridge nickname manager Gareth Taylor, returned to charging temporarily for the rest of the season.

Former City IRELI Taylor was appointed as a boss in 2020, and in 2022 he won the same year and the league trophy.
Last season, WSL Runners-ups finished behind Chelsea in the last day of the campaign.
