According to the US Geological Survey, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake shook Solomon Sea on Saturday. Papua has been given “Tsunami Danger” for some parts of the new banks of Guinea.
The US Tsunami warning system is possible that 3 and 10 feet above the normal tidal level near the epicenter of the earthquake. The system did not give signals for places in other parts of the Pacific Ocean.
