Patreon will increase the cut it takes from new creators

A creative money platform, which offers Patreon, Membership Programs and Digital Goods, declared Changes its price structure on Monday.

Currently, Patreon has 8%, which generates 8% depending on selected steps or 12% of the plan is more popular, 12% have been cut.

The new price plan offers a universal pier instead, which is 10% of its creative profits.

The existing Patreon creators should not worry – this price increase will only affect the creators that publish a new Patreon page on August 4, 2025.

“The last time we will update our prices six years ago, expanded outside the Patreon, Media Hosting, community and discovery,” the company wrote in a blog post.

Price growth is never popular to make popular ads, but Patreon has a point – has added new features in the last few years. This includes Hosting Native Video, crutchFree Membership, Sale of digital goodsand Gift subscribers.
