Photojournalist Dr. Congo conflict is a ‘shock’ reality for displaced civilians

Despite the ongoing peace talks, the battles continue in parts of the DR Congo among the M23 rebels that support local forces and Rwanda. M23, since January, has managed most of the eastern part of Dr. Congo – the arrest of Goma in the province of Northern Kivu. The award-winning photojournalist Hugh Kinsella Cunningham documented the impact of these testifists and civilians. Speaking about the long-term program of France 24, civilians described how to return to the villages where rebels leave the displacement camps and faced their fights.
