Finland closely monitors the military activities near Finland’s east border after Finland’s armed forces and international media.
In 2023, decades to join NATO decades of Finland, Russia and 1340 kilometers (830 miles) have a border.
Satellite images published in the New York Times show the expansion of Russian military infrastructure near the border.

NORDIC has increased its military investments and preparations since the country has joined NATO.
