Angelo MathewsOne of Sri Lanka’s most endurance and prestigious cricket, celebrating the end of the 17-year trip in the most demanding format, announced a retirement from the test cricket. 36-year-old confirmed that the upcoming test series is against Bangladesh In June, there will be the last appearance in the whites.
With its sustainability, under pressure and leadership qualities, Mathews’s march leaves an important space in building a red ball in Sri Lanka. His decision follows a decorated career who saw the column of the national team from a young man who promised him.
While moving away from long format, Mathews clarified the ADIEU did not offer all international crickets.
