South Carolina, accused of injury to the death of his ex-girlfriend, was the first US death row to be executed in the last 15 years.
Brad Sigmon, after 18:00 local time (23:00 GMT), opened fire with a rifle by three volunteers in his chest with a special bullet, specially designed on Friday.
Sigmon, 67, David and Gladys Larke, along with a baseball wound in 2001, was killed with a baseball wound before missing his ex-boyball. Managed to escape as he hit him.

Since 1977, only three people were killed in crew fire, and all three were in the state of Utah. The last claim was Ronnie Lee Gardner in 2010.
