Donald Trump has announced 25% of new trade taxes in cars brought to the United States.
The President of the United States said that the latest tariffs will enter into force on April 2 April, the collections started the next day.
Trump claimed that it would cause “great growth” for the automotive industry that promises to work and invest in the United States.
However, analysts said the action was likely to increase large disruptions, prices in the production of cars and to tension with allies.
Mexico, the highest foreign car supplier in the United States, followed by South Korea, Canada and Germany.
The shares in the general engines slipped about 3% on Wednesday because the White House plans to announce.
If there was a chance at a press conference, Trump said that Trump was not in the reverse.
“This is permanent,” he said, “But if you build your car in the United States, there is no tariff.”
