Trump praises the official language of the President of Liberia, the official language of the country

President Donald Trump, President of the Liberian President Joseph Boakai, complimented the English-speaking Boakai during a meeting with several African leaders in the White House.

Trump spoke in Boakai, “Such good English is in English,” he asks where he went to school.

The visitor was politely laughed, but did not noted that English is the official language of Liberia.

The oldest Republic of Africa, Liberia was established in 1822 by American servants to release free black people in Africa.
