Why is Israel now face pressure from some of the Western allies? | Israeli-Palestine conflict

The Madrid group gathered at the meeting of the Spanish capital, the meeting, which was attended by the great European and Arab peoples.

This year, pressure on Israel called on the arms embargo in Spain, Israel and applied sanctions on persons who hinder the two state settlements to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli confrontation.

The United Kingdom has stopped commercial talks and sanctioned a number of Israeli residents in the occupied West Bank. Canada and France threatened punitive measures.

And the European Union – Israel’s largest trading partner – reviews the Landmark Association, covering a trade and political dialogue.

But after 20 months of Israel’s destruction of Gaza, why does this happen?

For the Palestinians, these actions are more than symbolic, without the changes in the ground?
