Women in Syria: Can it be a future woman?




In a special edition, we focus on a nation, which arises from a cruel dictatorship for decades. The country’s temporary leader Ahmad al-Shara has signed a Constitutional Declaration by laid the rights of women and freedom of expression. This is the rebels led by Islamist overturned the government of Bashar al-Assad in December last year. Again, the sectarian violence is recently threatened to distribute the country as soon as we have seen these attacks on AWITE society. We report to the fears of Syrian women that the newly found freedoms may be threatened by the increase in religious adherence. Annette young, Mariam Jalabi, a co-founder of the political movement of Syrian women, speaks with an umbrella organization that represents women from all communities and pushes seats to sit on the table.
